Bailey Adams

About

I am Bailey. I am an artist, a poet, gamer, and a HUGE DnD nerd. I love to kayak, hike, rock-climb, slackline, and play pickleball! I am a queer neurodivergent woman and I have a passion for honoring neurodiversity, supporting the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC community, and providing gender-affirming sessions. My intention is to create a safe space that ensures any and all individuals get equal accessibility to services.

I highly value helping my clients deconstruct and reconstruct the culture, beliefs, ideals, and identity that resonate with them. I want my office to be a place where we can be authentically ourselves. Everybody has a story, and my goal as a therapist is to remind you of your place as the protagonist as well as assist you in highlighting the parts that acknowledge your resilience. Being a main character means challenges are inevitable.  Whatever dragons you are at battle with, lets take them on together.

I feel privileged to hear the stories that my clients bring into the therapy room. The healing and transformations that follow are truly rewarding. I look forward to potentially working alongside you through this process.

I graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University. I then got my Master of Arts in Couples and Family Therapy (MACFT) at Seattle University and I am currently awaiting LMFTA licensure (MG70061309) and am able to see clients under my pending associates license (WAC 246-809-097). I spent several years working with children and their families at a non-profit art organization that provided art supplies and art classes to underprivileged communities.

I believe that every human being is creative. Art has always been a major element of my work, life, and passion. I love incorporating art in therapy, so if that is something that interests you, I am full of prompts and ideas we can try. Whether art is your cup of tea or not, we will co-create sessions in ways that uplift and empower you! This process is a collaboration.

I approach therapy from a narrative, solution-focused, and person-centered lens. I am available for scheduling online sessions Wednesday-Sunday and am available for in-person sessions on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
